Free October 1 Greater Baltimore Philanthropy Forum discussing trends in philanthropy, presented by MedStar Health and Connelly & Assoc. Fundraising.
Welcome from Dr. Stuart Levine, President & Chief Medical Officer – MedStar Harbor Hospital; Keynote from Tom Geddes, CEO of Plank Industries; Panelists: Sarah Fawcett-Lee, CFRE, Regional Vice President for Philanthropy for MedStar Health; Brock Yetso, President & CEO of The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults; and Franklyn Baker, President & CEO of United Way of Central Maryland. The program is from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM on Monday, October 1 at MedStar Harbor Hospital. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the 3:30 PM program start to allow time for parking, security sign-in, and registration. All Fundraisers, Nonprofit Staff, Nonprofit Board Members, and those who work with Fundraisers and Nonprofit Organizations are encouraged to attend. There is no cost to join us, but we ask that you register.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Maryland Chapter (AFP-MD) National Philanthropy Day, with Presenting Sponsor Connelly & Assoc. Fundraising, in partnership with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce and the Baltimore Business Journal, will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.
We will honor:
George & Betsy Sherman as AFP-MD Outstanding Philanthropists
The William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund as AFP-MD Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation
James “Winky” & Florine “Peaches” Camphor will receive a Community Impact Award
We will also honor the outstanding contributions of today’s most philanthropic young people and our “Unsung Heroes.” Business Philanthropy Awards will again be presented by the Maryland Chamber of Commerce and the Baltimore Business Journal.
